Polar Foam
POLARFOAM 7300 is a spray applied cellular plastic
that forms a continuous, monolithic barrier on walls, around corners,
and on all contoured surfaces, and protrusions. It adheres directly to
the substrate forming a seamless permanent coverage over and around even
the most difficult shapes. The POLARFOAM 7300 System is ideal for insulation
either new or retrofit construction projects.
Energy efficient insulating material with highest R-value rating
POLARFOAM 7300 spray applied foam insulation has
one of the highest R-Values per inch of any insulating material available.
It eliminates heat loss through cracks, gaps, seams and joints. Energy
costs are reduced and building comfort is enhanced.
Effective air barrier
The National Building Code requires an air barrier for all new construction. POLARFOAM
7300 insulation material exceeds the requirements of a Type
lll air barrier as proposed by the National Research Council of Canada.
One-step application process
POLARFOAM 7300 urethane foam is applied on the
construction site, in a single, cost effective step by licensed
applicators across Canada. It flows into cracks and joints, and
around protrusions, like brick ties forming a continuous insulating
barrier. The applied cost of POLARFOAM 7300 insulation
is lower than for separately applied insulation and sheet good materials.
Labour cost are reduced since no extra steps are required to caulk or
seal openings.
Polar Foam 6503
A semi-rigid foam which offers the same
benefits as the Polar Foam 7300 except it has a higher expansion rate
making it ideal for wall-fill projects. When the removal of existing
walls for the purpose of insulating is not possible, Polar Foam 6503
can be injected through small holes and will expand in the wall cavity
to fill every nook and cranny.
